Our story
AI is moving fast, and most businesses are left sorting hype from what actually works. Bergman Technologies was founded to close that gap, pairing solid software engineering with a clear-eyed view of what today's AI can and can't do.
The company grew out of more than a decade of hands-on engineering, from Linux hosting and e-commerce platforms to enterprise platform engineering at Dell. We're deliberately small. That means you get senior-level attention on every project, direct communication with the person doing the work, and solutions sized to your needs rather than padded to fill a statement of work.

Seth Bergman
Founder & Principal EngineerSeth is a full-stack software engineer with more than 12 years of experience building and running production systems, both at enterprise scale and as an independent consultant working directly with clients.
As a Principal Software Engineer at Dell Technologies from 2018 to 2025, Seth built platform services used by thousands of engineers, architected a fleet of 50+ GitLab runners processing thousands of pipelines a day, delivered a secure container build pipeline that cut vulnerabilities by 95%, led the modernization of Dell's HashiCorp Vault infrastructure, and brought LLMs into internal developer tooling, including a copilot-style assistant for engineers. That work earned recognition from Dell executive leadership for innovation in platform engineering.
Before Dell, Seth ran an independent web development practice in Austin, led support and engineering teams at BigCommerce, and supported Linux hosting infrastructure at HostGator. Seth studied computer science at Texas State University and is based in New Braunfels, Texas.
